Arrive at Guwahati LGBI airport/Rly Station. Receive and transfer to

Hotel. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Guwahati.

NOV 08: GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA

Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

Early morning proceed to visit Maa Kamakhya temple later back to hotel. After breakfast check out form hotel and proceed to Kaziranga on arrival at Kaziranga visit Orchid Park and cultural show at Kaziranga. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

NOV 09: KAZIRANGA - DIRANG

Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

Early morning proceed to visit Kaziranga Jeep/elephant safari later back to hotel. After breakfast drive to Dirang Valley (165 kms/07 hrs) – it is a charming place dotted with apple orchards and sheep breeding centers. On way visit Tippi Orchid Centre & Sessa Orchid Centres – both this orchidaria houses about 1000 different species of orchids. On reaching Dirang, check in at hotel. O/N at Dirang.

NOV 10: DIRANG - TAWANG

Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

This morning visit Dirang Dzong – the five hundred year old village including Sangte Valley which is the home to the rare Black necked crane and the Sheep & Yak breeding centers. Then take your drive through the hilly terrain to Tawang (141 kms/07hrs). On the way you will visit the Sella Lake and Jaswanthgarh, is a memorial to the brave soldiers who single handedly tried to get hold of the Chinese army during Chinese Aggression, 1962. On reaching Tawang, transferred to hotel. O/N at Tawang.

NOV 11: TAWANG

Today explore in and around Tawang. Visit Tawang Monastery – The Gaden Namgyal Lhatse is located above 10,000 ft ASL, which was built in accordance with the wishes of 5th Dalai Lama in 1680 -81, Uni Gompa (woman monastery), Urgilling (birth place 6th Dalai Lama) and PTSo Lake and the War memorial. O/N at Tawang.

NOV 12: TAWANG – BOMDILA

Bomdila (181 kms/07 -08 hrs) – the land of Monpa, Sherdukpen, Aka (Hruso), Miji and Bogun tribes sparshly scared over the region. On the

Way stop at Jang Fall to get a beautiful view of the beautiful falls. O/N at Bomdila.

NOV 13: BOMDILA – KAZIRANGA

Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

 After breakfast proceed to Kaziranga on arrival at Kaziranga check in at hotel. Evening free time for self-activities O/N at Kaziranga.

NOV 14: KAZIRANGA TO SHILLONG

Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

After breakfast check out from hotel and Start the scenic drive from the plains of Assam to the hills of Meghalaya and stop at the serene Umium Lake to enjoy its serene beauty under the vast sky. After reaching Shillong check in at your hotel. End the day by exploring the local markets for dinner, or retire early to rest after your trip.

NOV 15: SHILLONG - CHERRY BLOSSOM

Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

Start your day with a visit to Don Bosco Cathedral. Afterwards, head to Ward Lake to admire the cherry blossoms while enjoying a leisurely boat ride (optional and not included). Continue to the Shillong Golf Course which also offers stunning views of the cherry blossoms. In the evening, you can take a leisurely stroll to the Police Bazaar in the city center to experience a lively daily market.

NOV 16: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI- SHILLONG

Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

Drive to Mawlinnong village (90 kms/03 hrs) is claimed to be the cleanest village in Asia. Mawlynnong village takes its position for its cleanliness.The people of this village have joined their hands to keep their villagelitter free. Also walk to the living root – bridge near the village. These bridges are unique formations built by the secondary roots of the rubber trees. The local people net the roots with each other to form a ropeway like structure which after about 100 years becomes strong enough to be used as a bridge to cross the hilly streams. Also drive to Dawki a small but busy town in the East Jaintia Hills district near the Indo-Bangladesh border. On arrival at Dawki visit Indo – Bangladesh border check post and enjoy the boating at Umngot River which flows through Dawki is one of the cleanest river with clear blue water. Return back to Shillong for Overnight stay.

NOV 17: SHILLONG TO CHERRAPUNJEE GUWAHATI

Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

Depart for Cherrapunjee, known as the rainiest place in the country and located deeper in the Khasi Hills. The route offers many scenic spots, especially the cherry trees along the way. Take time to enjoy and photograph these natural beauties. Depending on the time of day, visit the following attractions:

• Elephant Falls
• Mawkdok Valley
• Wha Kaba Falls
• Arwah Caves
• Nohkalikai Falls
• Seven Sister Falls

Note. From November to February, the waterfalls may not be at their peak due to the dry season, but the caves remain spectacular and the natural pools are exceptionally clear. Later transfer to Guwahati. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

NOV 18: GUWAHATI AIRPORT

Early morning proceed to visit Kamakhya Temple later back to hotel. After Breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Guwahati drop at airport.
