Embarking on the Hampta Pass trek starts with a picturesque journey through the beautiful Manali Valley. After a short ride from the city of Manali, we reach the starting point of the trek. The initial days of the hike take us through verdant landscapes, dotted with lush meadows that serve as grazing grounds for local shepherds. This part of the journey offers a tranquil and rejuvenating experience, with camping spots offering stunning views. As we traverse along rivers, streams, and even cross waterfalls, the trail offers a diverse mix of flora and fauna. The trek features a captivating blend of pine, deodar, spruce, horse chestnut, oak, and birch trees. The months of June and July offer pleasant weather conditions, making it an ideal time to explore the region. However, beyond September, it is advisable not to trek alone due to the extreme cold. After October, heavy snowfall can be expected in the area, requiring advanced preparation. Best Time to Visit: June to September. June and July are the pleasant time to trek here. After September, it is generally not advisable to trek alone due to the extreme cold. AUG 16:
- Start your journey from Delhi by Volvo bus to Manali.
- Night journey to Manali
AUG 17:
- 10:00 am: Pick up from Manali Mall Road.
- Take a taxi and drive to Jobra, which is approximately 22 km away.
- Start the trek from Jobra to Cheeka camp, which is 3 km.
- Trek duration: 1/2 hours.
- Altitude: 3078 meters.
- Set up camp at Cheeka camp for the night.
AUG 18:
- Wake up early and have breakfast at Cheeka camp.
- Start trekking from Cheeka camp to Balu ka Gera.
- Trek distance: 8 km.
- Trek duration: 4/5 hours.
- Altitude: 3783 meters.
- Reach Balu ka Gera and set up camp for the night.
AUG 19:
- After breakfast, begin the trek from Balu ka Gera to Hampta Pass.
- Trek distance: 12 km.
- Trek duration: 6/7 hours.
- Altitude: 4310 meters (Hampta Pass).
- Reach Shea Goru camp and set up camp for the night.
AUG 20:
- Have breakfast at Shea Goru camp and start the trek towards Chatru camp.
- Trek distance: 5 km.
- Trek duration: 3/4 hours.
- Altitude: Shea Goru camp - 3735 meters, Chatru camp - 4300 meters.
- Reach Chatru camp and rest for a while.
- Take a drive to Chandratal Lake, which is approximately 156 km away.
- Explore Chandratal Lake and enjoy the scenic beauty.
- Return to Chatru camp.
- Set up camp at Chatru camp for the night.
AUG 21:
- Have breakfast at Chatru camp.
- Start the drive from Chatru camp, passing through the Atal Tunnel (4114 meters), and continue towards Manali.
- Distance from Chatru camp to Manali: 140 km.
- Reach Manali by 2 pm in the afternoon.
- Volvo journey to Delhi
AUG 22:
- Arrival at Delhi, Pick up from Volvo point and transfer to airport.
Trek Fee per Person: ₹ 13,500.00 from Delhi to Delhi

Note:
If you can't pick up your trekking bag yourself then if you need porters for that then its cost Per Bag per Day. 400.00 pay directly in the base camp – Total is Rs. 2000.00
Note- We serve three meals a day including snacks and soup. A variety of delectable and healthy food is provided which includes Indian, Chinese, and other Western meals. They are nutritious and keep you fit and healthy on the trek. (Veg food egg)
Cancellation Policy: -
It is good to make your booking two months prior in advance. In the event of cancellation of any trek/adventure activity due to any reasons, it is compulsory to notify us in writing. Cancellation charges will only be effective from the date we receive your request in writing.
If the trek is cancelled by us due to any reason (heavy snowfall, rainfall, natural disaster etc.) then the refund would not be initiated but you can go on the same trek another year.
The cancellation charges are as follows –

Up to 30 Days – 90% cost is Refundable.
Between 21 to 30 Days – 50% cost is Refundable
Less than 20 Days – No Refund
(Refund is initiated within 7-8 business days
PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING FOR HAMPTA PASS TREK:
1. Backpack of 50 -60 ltrs
2. Sturdy hiking boots: preferably all leather upper as it provides better ankle support. If you do not own a pair yet, it is advisable that you buy one as soon as possible & wear it often so that they are well broken. This will help prevent blisters.
3. Lightweight tennis shoes/sandals: for wearing in camp
4. Wool socks: 2 pairs: preferably thick wool socks.
5. Nylon socks: 2- Pairs, of the type you wear daily to be worm under the wool socks to prevent blisters.
6. Hiking shirt: 1 Preferably long sleeve
7. Long John top: 2 also known as thermal underwear, preferably wool to be worm as the first layer.
8. Warm shirts & pants for camp : 2 each
9. Rain cot/ Poncho 1 each • Warm Jacket: 1
10. Wool gloves: 1 pairs as thick as available in the market.
11. Long John bottoms: Preferably wool to be worm as first layer.
12. Under wear: 2-3 changes Hiking shorts/ pants: 1
13. Sun hat: Cotton or nylon.
14. Sunglasses: Preferably with an anchor
15. Sun Protection Lotion: optional Lip balm/chap stick: optional
16. Water bottle: 2 Bottles of 1 Liter capacity (Pepsi bottles work well) please insure that they do not leak.
17. Head lamp / flashlight: Preferably a headlamp as it leaves your hands free to work please bring extra batteries.
